MAIN COMMENT
All the Articles taken together have been unable to stem the tide of regression in “Western pseudo-democracies.”

The writ of habeas corpus is the fundamental instrument for safeguarding individual freedom against arbitrary and lawless state action.' Yet most of these nations, including our own, have, ostensibly in response to the threat of terrorism … and implicitly in response to dissent relating to anything goes capitalism [AGC], not sustained habeas corpus or the right to challenging AGC by civic disruption.

AGC is armed to the teeth, and demonstrably destroying our planet’s ecological balance before our eyes. If we took an action which brought a trading floor to a halt, and confronted the traders with their ecological myopia we would be regarded as criminals and terrorists.

Yet, as we face the “war on ecology”The UDHR is a set of “fatherhood statements”* too naive in not clarifying the assumptions lying beneath each Article. Eg c.f. collectivist cultures and individualistic cultures. [*This slur is usually referred to as “motherhood statements”]

If it is broken the best thing to do is to fix it.
